6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Lacasa Market – Returns & Refunds Policy (US Only)

At Lacasa Market, customer satisfaction is important. This policy explains when and how you can return items purchased from our store.

6.1. Eligibility and Time Limits

  • This policy applies to orders shipped from our US warehouses to delivery addresses within the United States.
  • For change‑of‑mind returns (non‑defective items), you may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date shown in the tracking information.
  • For items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 30 days of delivery so we can investigate and arrange a solution.

6.2. Condition of Returned Items

  • Returned products must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging (including all tags, accessories, manuals, and parts).
  • We may refuse a refund or charge a restocking fee if items are returned used, damaged, or missing components not covered by a defect.
  • Certain items are non‑returnable, including but not limited to clearance or final‑sale items, personalized products, and perishable goods.​

6.3. How to Request a Return

  • To start a return, email us at return@lacasa.market with your order number, item(s), and reason for the return.
  • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, you must include clear photos or videos of the product and its packaging showing the issue.
  • Do not send any items back before receiving return instructions from us; unauthorized returns may be refused or not processed.​

6.4. Return Shipping

  • For change‑of‑mind returns (you no longer want the item, wrong size chosen, etc.), you are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • If we shipped the wrong item or the product is confirmed defective or significantly damaged on arrival, we will either provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs, or offer a replacement without requiring a return, depending on the case.

6.5. Refunds and Replacements

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after the returned item is received or after we confirm that a refund is due without return.

6.6. Orders Marked as Delivered but Not Received

  • If tracking shows that an order was delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 10 days of the delivery date.

  • We are unable to issue refunds for orders where tracking shows delivered and no supporting documentation is provided, or where the carrier confirms correct delivery.

6.7. Situations Not Covered

  • We generally cannot accept returns or issue refunds in cases such as: incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided, refusal of delivery, failure to pick up a held package, or damage caused by misuse or improper handling after delivery.
  • We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by events outside our control (for example extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, or other force‑majeure events), but we will always try to assist you with carrier claims where possible.

6.8. Order Cancellations

  • You may request cancellation before your order is shipped by contacting us as soon as possible with your order number.
  • Once an order has been processed or shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and will instead be handled under this returns policy.
