This tea is crafted from premium leaves harvested from century‑old ancient tea trees in Yunnan’s celebrated tea regions. The deep‑rooted trees draw nutrients from lower soil layers, yielding leaves rich in polyphenols and amino acids, which create a strong, full‑bodied, and lasting infusion. It follows traditional Pu‑erh processing steps—harvesting, withering, fixation, rolling, and sun‑drying—to produce high‑quality sun‑dried maocha, which is then steamed and pressed into cakes using stone moulds. The stone moulding ensures optimal compactness, allowing a gradual interaction with air that is ideal for aging. Naturally aged during dry storage, the tea has transitioned from the sharp, cooling character of young raw Pu‑erh to a mellow, smooth profile, with reduced astringency and the emergence of an aged aroma.
