It covers a range from 0 µm to 1,500 µm (0 – 59.1 mil) and displays results in both micrometres and mils. The instrument provides a resolution of 0.1 µm with an accuracy of ±(3 % of the reading + 2 µm). Minimum substrate thickness requirements are 0.5 mm for the Fe probe and 0.3 mm for the NFe probe. It operates in ambient temperatures between 0 °C and 40 °C (32 °F – 104 °F) and is powered by a built‑in rechargeable 3.7 V battery.
